Need to return an item?  No problem!

Incorrect items

If you've purchased the wrong item be it size or colour or you just don't like it, then we're more than happy to exchange it or refund your money. Please bear in mind the following:

  • You must contact us within 14 days of receipt, the carrier's delivery date will be deemed to be the date of receipt. 
  • Goods must be returned in the original packaging and with all the tags, labels and warranty card attached*.  
  • Please contact us at sales@goplaces.co.uk or call 01403 713332 before returning a purchase to obtain a returns authorisation number.
  • You will be responsible for the return carriage and condition of item, so please ensure it is properly sealed in its original packaging and it is advisable to ensure you have adequate transit insurance.  We recommend using the Parcel2Go service.

* Any item returned for a refund or exchange must be received by us in a new and unused condition in the original supplier's packaging and packed with care (many items come in a protective plastic bag that protects it from transit damage / scuffs, so please return the item in the bag and in the original box).  If we receive items without packaging as supplied, with unattached or missing labels, or damaged then we reserve the right to refuse the exchange or refund.

 

Damaged or incorrectly supplied items

In the unlikely event that a product arrives damaged or we have supplied an incorrect item please contact us on 01403 713332 or sales@goplaces.co.uk and we will organise to collect the item and send a replacement/correct item.

Faulty items

Within 30 Days:

In the event of an item being faulty within 30 days of purchase we will arrange for the item to be collected free of charge for inspection by the manufacturer.  If the item is deemed be faulty then we will replace or refund the item.

After 30 Days

Customers can either contact the manufacturer directly to claim on the warranty or Go Places can deal with the manufacturer on your behalf.  Faulty items can be returned to us at the customer's expense and we will organise for the item to be checked by the manufacturer.  We will send back any items to you free of charge.

***All faulty items returned to us will be checked by the manufacturer of the item and if the item(s) has failed due to a manufacturing fault then the item(s) will either be repaired, replaced or refunded.  Please note: Warranties cover defects in materials and do not cover airline damage, misuse or neglect.

Suitcase manufacturers extensively test their items so that they are fit for purpose and their warranties cover this.  This means that if a lock, zip, wheels or trolley handles develop a fault then these are covered by manufacturer warranties.  These warranties do not cover extreme damage or misuse, or damage caused by airlines such as cracked or ripped cases.  Go Places recommends that if you travel by air, then you check your suitcase for cracks or rips before leaving the airport.  If you do find cracks or rips then make a claim with the airline before leaving the airport.

Items returned to Go Places

Go Places is not liable for items that are damaged or lost when being sent back to us.  If the item is new, then it must be returned in the original packaging with tags, or if you are sending an older item for a warranty claim/repair then it must be put in suitable packaging.
