We understand that not everyone will like their Christmas gift no matter how well we know them, so we are extending our normal 2 weeks returns window over the festive period. Some customers will have done their Christmas shopping over the Black Friday weekend, so if there are any items that were bought as a gift and need to be returned then that's OK - we will accept returns requests for Christmas gifts until Friday January 11th.
IMPORTANT - all unwanted items must be returned unused and undamaged in their original packaging and with the tags still attached. We reserve the right to refuse to exchange or refund items any items returned that don't meet these requirements.
If you've purchased the wrong item be it size or colour or you just don't like it, then we're more than happy to exchange it or refund your money. Please bear in mind the following:
* Any returned for a refund or exchange must be received by us in a new and unused condition in the original supplier's packaging and packed with care (many items come in a protective plastic bag that protects it from transit damage / scuffs, so please return the item in the bag and in the original box). If we receive items without packaging as supplied, with unattached or missing labels, or damaged then we reserve the right to refuse the exchange or refund.
Damaged or incorrectly supplied items
In the unlikely event that a product arrives damaged or we have supplied an incorrect item please contact us on 01403 713332 or [email protected] and we will organise to collect the item and send a replacement/correct item.
If an item develops a fault within 3 months of purchase then please contact us on [email protected] or 01403 713332. We will ask for as much information as possible as well as photographs showing the fault to understand the problem.
All faulty items returned to us will be checked by the manufacturer of the item and if the item(s) has failed due to a manufacturing fault then the item(s) will either be repaired, replaced or refunded. Please note: warranties cover defects in materials and does not cover airline damage, misuse or neglect.
The cost of carriage would be charged by Go Places or you can use your own delivery service to return the goods. Please note: some delivery companies request that the item is boxed and may refuse to collect the item if otherwise.
If an item develops a fault after 13 weeks then we recommend contacting the manufacturer for a warranty repair. Alternatively, Go Places can handle your warranty claim with the manufacturer on your behalf if you send the item to us.
Suitcase manufacturers extensively test their items so that they are fit for purpose and their warranties cover this. This means that if a lock, zip, wheels or trolley handles develop a fault then these are covered by manufacturer warranties. These warranties do not cover extreme damage or misuse, or damage caused by airlines such as cracked cases. Go Places recommends that if you travel by air, then you check your suitcase for cracks before leaving the airport. If you do find cracks then make a claim with the airline before leaving the airport.
Items returned to Go Places
Go Places is not liable for items that are damaged or lost when being sent back to us. If the item is new, then it must be returned in the original packaging with tags, or if you are sending an older item for a warranty claim/repair then it must be put in suitable packaging.
