• The advertised item must be identical in size, colour and type with an identical guarantee.
• The price match promise cannot be claimed retrospectively.
• The item must include VAT and delivery charges.
• The item must be in stock and available to purchase.
• The item must be of the current range and not an item from a previous collection/year.
• It must be on a UK website with stock from UK sources.
• The item must be new and in perfect condition.
• The item must not be in a closing down sale.

DELIVERY INFORMATION FOR UK

Free Delivery for orders over £50 for mainland UK except Scottish Highlands

Go Places offers free delivery on all orders with a value over £50 (before any shipping charges are calculated).  We have many items in stock in our warehouse that available for next day delivery and we also display items that are in stock at our supplier that we order in specifically. 

Items that we order from our supplier are generally delivered within a 5-7 working day timeframe to UK mainland (excluding Scottish Highlands) addresses. Allow an extra 2 working days for delivery of these items to other addresses.

Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands

Our courier charges us extra to deliver to these areas, so we have to charge for the delivery service.  Delivery to these areas takes between 2-5 days.  A summary of the charges can be found further down this page.

Orders £50 or below

We charge £4.95 delivery for all UK mainland (excluding Scottish Highlands) orders £50 or below.  All orders are sent using DPD Local and will require a signature.

Despatching Orders

We despatch orders Monday - Friday with many of our products in stock and ready to ship. If we receive your order by 2:30pm then we will ship your order on the same day (subject to payment being approved).  Orders placed after 2:30pm will be despatched the following working day.  All orders placed after 2:30pm on Friday, any time on the weekend, or on a public holiday will be despatched the next working day.  If an item is extremely urgent please feel free to contact us on 01403 713332 to confirm that the item is in stock.

When we despatch your order you will automatically receive shipping notification via email and if you have left a mobile number as a contact then we will pass this on to our courier who will send you text updates.  Our courier normally sends customers a text on the morning of delivery with the 1-hour delivery time slot so you can plan your day.

* Please note the stated delivery times does not include weekends and bank holidays. The 1 hour delivery window is for mainland locations only and is decided by courier based on their deliveries for the day. It may not be available in some remote areas or in adverse weather conditions. Go Places cannot accept responsibility for any failure of the carrier to arrive within the stated time.

** If you need your delivery to arrive before midday then please call us to place your order because there will be an additional courier charge.

Saturday & Sunday Deliveries (Mainland UK only excluding Scottish Highlands)

We can deliver to you on the weekend for a flat rate of £15. Please note: this service is only available on orders placed Monday-Friday for items available for next day delivery. If your order contains longer lead time items, this option will not be available. Sunday delivery can't be organised for orders placed on a Saturday. We apologise for this inconvenience at this time.

Returns Policy

Need to return an item?  No problem!

**Unfortunately, we are unable to accept returns and offer refunds on any PPE Masks and Sanitiser for reasons of hygiene**

CHRISTMAS 2021 RETURNS: many people will be purchasing Christmas gifts well in advance, so we are extending our returns period for unwanted gifts until 14th January 2022. If an item is unwanted then please read below and follow the steps before 14 January 2022. The item must be returned in "as new" condition with all tags still attached. 

Incorrect items

If you've purchased the wrong item be it size or colour or you just don't like it, then we're more than happy to exchange it or refund your money. Please bear in mind the following:

• You must contact us within 14 days of receipt, the carriers delivery date will be deemed to be the date of receipt. 
• Goods must be returned in the original packaging and with all the tags, labels and warranty card attached*.  
• Please contact us at sales@goplaces.co.uk or call 01403 713332 before returning a purchase to obtain a returns authorisation number.
• You will be responsible for the return carriage and condition of item, so please ensure it is properly sealed in its original packaging and it is advisable to ensure you have adequate transit insurance.  We recommend using the Parcel2Go service.

* Any returned for a refund or exchange must be received by us in a new and unused condition in the original supplier's packaging and packed with care (many items come in a protective plastic bag that protects it from transit damage / scuffs, so please return the item in the bag and in the original box).  If we receive items without packaging as supplied, with unattached or missing labels, or damaged then we reserve the right to refuse the exchange or refund.

Damaged or incorrectly supplied items

In the unlikely event that a product arrives damaged or we have supplied an incorrect item please contact us on 01403 713332 or sales@goplaces.co.uk and we will organise to collect the item and send a replacement/correct item.

Faulty items

Within 30 Days:

In the event of an item being faulty within 30 days of purchase we will arrange for the item to be collected free of charge for inspection by the manufacturer.  If the item is deemed be faulty then we will replace or refund the item.

After 30 Days

Customers can either contact the manufacturer directly to claim on the warranty or Go Places can deal with the manufacturer on your behalf.  Faulty items can be returned to us at the customer's expense and we will organise for the item to be checked by the manufacturer.  We will send back any items to you free of charge.

***All faulty items returned to us will be checked by the manufacturer of the item and if the item(s) has failed due to a manufacturing fault then the item(s) will either be repaired, replaced or refunded.  Please note: warranties cover defects in materials and do not cover airline damage, misuse or neglect.

Suitcase manufacturers extensively test their items so that they are fit for purpose and their warranties cover this.  This means that if a lock, zip, wheels or trolley handles develop a fault then these are covered by manufacturer warranties.  These warranties do not cover extreme damage or misuse, or damage caused by airlines such as cracked or ripped cases.  Go Places recommends that if you travel by air, then you check your suitcase for cracks or rips before leaving the airport.  If you do find cracks or rips then make a claim with the airline before leaving the airport.

Items returned to Go Places

Go Places is not liable for items that are damaged or lost when being sent back to us.  If the item is new, then it must be returned in the original packaging with tags, or if you are sending an older item for a warranty claim/repair then it must be put in suitable packaging.

BUY NOW PAY LATER WITH KLARNA AT GO PLACES

'Pay Later' - no interest or fees and no credit agreement

• Let's say that you’ve found that item of luggage, but it's the middle of month so want to defer payment and pay for it within 14 days.  'Pay Later' is perfect for you.  Simply select ‘Pay Later’ in the checkout and Klarna will check your eligibility with a real-time ‘soft-search’ assessment that won’t affect your credit score. Here's the important information: 
• Pay Later with Klarna is available to all customers with a billing and delivery address registered in the UK.
• Go Places will send Klarna your email address so they can send you your payment statement. It's important that you provide the correct email address otherwise you won't receive the relevant payment information.
• You aren’t able to purchase Go Places gift cards using Klarna, but if you’re spending more than the value of the gift card then you can pay the remaining amount of your order using Klarna.  Please note, if you pay for your order this way, there won't be a breakdown of payment methods used on your order confirmation email.
• You'll then have 14 days to complete the payment online. You can pay at your convenience, with no extra cost via credit or debit card.
• Klarna will send you a reminder two days before your payment is due, and you'll also receive email reminders.
• Go Places has no influence on whether Klarna accept your application for payment using their service.  Klarna is independent from Go Places.

Who is eligible?

Klarna’s payment methods are available to all customers aged 18 or over with a registered UK billing and delivery address.  You will need to provide a mobile number in case they need to contact you. 

Once you have an approved Klarna account then you will be use your account at any retailer where Klarna is accepted as payment method without having to re-apply.  For a list of Klarna retailers click here.

FAQs

If you experience a problem placing an order with Pay Later then it could be because of one of the following reasons:

• Klarna may have rejected your application to pay on account. In this instance we recommend choosing another type or payment or placing an order for a smaller amount.
• Klarna may not have been able to check your details using the billing address that you've provided.  The billing address must match the same address that your bank/credit cards are registered to.
• You may have outstanding payments on previous Klarna statements. Once these are paid off, try Pay Later with Klarna again. If you've recently paid off outstanding statements, please allow 24 hours before trying to pay through Klarna again.
• You may have missed a required field at the checkout, such as filling in your Date of Birth.
• If you haven't used Klarna before and you're shipping to a different address to your billing address, the payment may be declined.
